McCool flowers Ribbon Cutting

Wedding~ Carole and Bob at Canons

We love Canons Sea Food in Dana Point, the brides we get from there are just so sweet! Carole was no exception! And of course we love working with It's All About the Cake, also in Dana Point. Their cakes are not only beautiful, but they taste wonderful! Carole wanted to make sure that her cupcake tower topper hydrangea and her cupcakes were an exact match. We were able to take the flowers over to It's All About the Cake so that they could do a custom color match to the exact flowers that would be used! Talk about service :) And a huge thank you to TayPen Photography for sharing photos with us!

We Have Moved!

We have moved! But don't panic! We are just down the road! And even though our city has changed from Dana Point to Laguna Niguel, we are only 2 miles from our old location.

Wedding~ Erin and Matt

Fall is such a great time of year for weddings in California! The weather is great and the color schemes are some of my favorites. Erin and Matt chose to embrace the season and the colors of fall in all their glory. Warm fall colors of golds, wine and oranges with the predominate colors. The wedding took place at the Laguna Beach Methodist Church in Laguna Beach with the reception at the Dana Point Yacht Club in Dana Point. Wedding~ Tram and Luke at the Chart House

At McCool Flowers, we especially love two things- ocean view weddings and fun flowers! Tram and Luke's wedding at the Chart House in Dana Point, Ca had both of those! A spectacular view of the Dana Point Harbor and beautiful, fun Gerber Daisies for the ceremony arch flowers and the centerpieces. Tram, our bride, chose beautiful roses in similar colors for her bouquet with roses and daisies for her brides maids. So pretty! Thank you to D2 Photography for sharing photos with us!

Wedding~ Kayla and Zach at Cannons in Dana Point

Love the bright colors Kayla chose for her wedding at Cannons  in Dana Point. Kayla is a huge Minnie and Micky Mouse fan and she found these adorable Micky sparkle pins to add to her bridal bouquet! Wedding~ Stephanie and Jeremy in San Clemente

The Historic Cottage in San Clemente is an adorable wedding venue! Built in the 1930's it overlooks the ocean in South San Clemente. With a relaxed, natural vibe it is a great place for a summer wedding.
Love that Stephanie chose such bright vibrant colors to go with the historic adobe and whites of the venue!

Kristin and Kevin~ Wedding at Cannons

You know how much we love Cannons and Blue Lantern Inn overlooking Dana Point Harbor! We love it even more when we get to see how amazing it can look with a talented photography team capturing it on a wedding day! Look how beautiful Judy and Gavin Photography (www.judytran.com)captured Kristin and Kevin's day!
Blue and yellow has been a really popular color combination for us this summer. Look for our post of Stephanie and Jeremy's wedding coming soon.

Vickie and David~ Wedding at Canons Restaurant

We love to do weddings at Canons Restaurant in Dana Point! The view is spectacular! 

and the staff is great to work with. Look how stunning this combination of blues, whites and greens looks with the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean in the background!

Jacqueline and Devon~ Wedding at Serra Plaza

Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano is one of those venues that when you see it during the day is nothing special, but when it is all dressed up for a wedding, is just beautiful! Add a beautiful bride and groom and an amazing photographer named Joy Marie from Joy Marie Photography... and you have a fairy tail wedding!!

Event~ Bridal Shower at the Tea House on Los Rios St

How adorable are these centerpieces we did last weekend for a Bridal Shower at the Tea House on Los Rios in San Juan Capistrano!? The mother of the bride to be sent us this adorable photo she found on Pinterest. http://pinterest.com/mccoolflowers/flowers-we-admire/

The only thing is... it was a photo of a bridal bouquet, and an expensive one at that! Working together we were able to come up with something in her budget that had a similar look and feel. What do you think?

Hailey and Michael~ Wedding at Cannon's

We were worried it might rain for Michael and Hailey's wedding at Cannon's in Dana Point, but as you can see, their (and our) luck held out and no rain! As I've said many times before... Cannons is a great place for a wedding! The view is spectacular  It looks south toward San Diego and overlooks the Dana Point Harbor, San Clemente and on a clear day you can see all the way to La Jolla. This time of year I'm sure if you watched long enough, you would spot some Gray Whales migrating south.

Yeah for Us!

Yeah for us! We've won the Bride's Choice Award from Wedding Wire again this year!

For those of you unfamiliar with Wedding Wire, you can follow the link here. It is a wonderful resouce for brides to find vendors. Then once their wedding is over, they go back a rate those vendors so that other brides will know if they are quality vendors or not. (Since we have a 5 star review from our brides, we think we can say we do pretty darn good) :)
