Kate and Chad~Wedding at Laguna Presbyterian and El Niguel Country Club

So sweet and romantic! That's what I thought when I saw these great photos from Mike Gillmore Photography of our wedding at Laguna Presbyterian Church in Laguna Beach. The soft peachy pinks and ivorys we just so dreamy! And how adorable is the flower girl? Too cute!

Don't you just love the chocolate brown linens with the manzanita centerpieces. Their reception was at El Niguel Country Club in Laguna Niguel.

Amy and Tim~ Wedding at Laguna Cliffs Resort and Spa

Sunflowers make such happy wedding flowers :) Doesn't this look like a happy wedding despite the June Gloom that we get along the coast in May and June. And with at wedding at the Laguna Cliffs Resort and Spa in Dana Point, you are about as close to the coast as you can get without being on the sand. If you are not familiar with the venue, it overlooks the Dana Point Harbor from atop the cliffs. Beautiful and serene. Thank you to Ashley Bee Photography for sharing photos with us. Be sure to check out our Fan Page on Facebook for lots more photos!

Lauren and Brandon~ Wedding at Cannons

We fell in love with the whispy romantic wedding bouquet that Lauren helped us design for her wedding at Cannon's Restaurant in Dana Point. And we love that she found a great photographer who's style was also romantic and whispy. It's hard to tell from the photos, but Lauren put together the cutest menu list on the wine bottles that sat next to the table centerpieces. They were made to look like they were chalked on, adorable! There are more photos on our Facebook Fan page- so be sure to check out Lauren and Brandon's album there too.
She also chose a great place to get ready for her wedding. The Blue Lantern Inn is right next door to Cannon's and is such a great little place to stay!

Thanks to Erin Hughes Photography for sharing photos of Lauren and Brandon's special day.

Sharman and Jack~ Wedding at St Andrews in San Clemente, Ca

Tiffany Blue is all the rage for wedding again this year! Unfortunately,  Mother Nature didn't get the memo and she forgot to create flowers in that color! Luckily someone thought to "stem dye" Dendrobium Orchids to make them just the right color! Mixed with some white orchids and other white flowers, the effect is really stunning!

Sharman chose all white for her aisle flowers. The larkspar and lilies were really pretty, and adding them to each row made a lovely statement.
There were two large alter pieces that were just stunning!

Thank you to Accent Portraits by Diana for sharing photos of the wedding with us! You can see more photos from the wedding on our Facebook Fan Page.

Terry and Steve~ Wedding at OC Sailing and Events Center in Dana Point Harbor

How cute is this Hawaiian themed wedding at the OC Sailing and Events Center in the Dana Point Harbor? More blue and white Dendrobium orchids! I have no doubt the food was amazing! As Terry's son is none other then OC's Rock and Roll Chef
Terry's head wreath with the blue and white orchids was such a sweet touch!

Jennifer~ Beach Wedding in Laguna

I just love beach weddings! There is nothing more romantic then a bride on the beach with sand between her toes and bliss in her heart! Add in some tropical flowers and you have a truly blessed event :) Jennifer and her hubbie were married right in front of the Montage in Laguna Beach. Afterwards they headed up to The Loft at the Montage for a great dinner and very small reception. Thank you to Nicole Caldwell Photography for sharing the photos from this little wedding.

Wedding Show at Marbella

We attended the wedding show at Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano last weekend. Marbella is such a pretty venue! Take a look at Poppy and Aaron's wedding to see any example of how we set up the lawn for their wedding. The golf course with the waterfall in the background is really classy!
Here are a few photos of the flowers we displayed. I love the purple and green wedding bouquet with hydrangea, kale and lisianthus! You can see more photos from the wedding show on our Facebook Places page. Be sure to "like" us while you are there :)

Event~ At the St Regis

The St Regis in Monarch Beach has this great little private area right on the golf course for weddings and events called Club 19. It is perfect for smaller weddings or events, and it has a great view!
One of our regular clients hosted a Christmas party there this week for family and friends. She chose warm copper, reds, and oranges for her centerpieces. We think they turned out really nice! You can see more photos from the event on our Facebook places page. Be sure to "like" us while you are there!

Did you know....

Did you know that Poinsettias are NOT poisonous? I know, I know, you've always heard that they were.... but they are not!

According to MedicineNet.com "While the genus (Euphorbia) to which the poinsettia plant belongs does contain some highly toxic plants, the popular poinsettia itself is not toxic." Even Snopes.com had something to say about the poinsettia myth! ttp://www.snopes.com/holidays/christmas/poinsettia.asp

Now, nobody said you can add them to your salad (I hear they taste awful!) but now you can feel safe bringing home a few poinsettia. They make the house feel so festive and cheery! And we have some gorgeous 3 and 4 stem beauties in the store right now! Come by and grab one for yourself or send one to a loved one. Happy Holidays!

Cassandra and Joe~ Huntington Harbor Wedding

We meet Cassandra at the Wedding Show in Dana Point Harbor. The funny thing was that she was planning her wedding at the Huntington Harbor Yacht Club and not the Dana Point one :) She chose us out of all the florists to do her flowers for her and drive them up there for the set up. There were a unique combination of white roses, white hydrangea, stephanotis and dark mini Calla Lilies for the bride's bouquet and hydrangea and white dendrobium orchids for the bride's table and the guest's centerpieces. Thank you to Shea Weddings for sharing the image of the bride and groom and to A Warm Reception, the wedding planner.

Jennifer and Brian~ Casa Romantica, San Clemente Wedding

If you are planning a wedding in South Orange County, Casa Romantica should defiantly be on your list of places to visit. It is a beautiful, rustic, "Old California" venue overlooking San Clemente Pier and the ocean! We had the privilege of providing the flowers for Jennifer and Brian's wedding there at the beginning of November. No big elaborate centerpieces for this wedding- they wanted simple and clean for their wedding flowers. Thank you to Weddings by Jeanie and Tyler Branch Photography for the photos of the wedding party.
